Know Yourself
Pay attention to your values, patterns, needs, strengths, limits, beliefs, and the things that consistently matter to you.
This philosophy centers identity. Other people can influence you, judge you, pressure you, or misunderstand you, but they cannot become you. Your life becomes clearer when you stop building your identity around outside expectations and start understanding the person who is actually living it.
Pay attention to your values, patterns, needs, strengths, limits, beliefs, and the things that consistently matter to you.
Approval can feel powerful, but a life built entirely around pleasing other people can eventually make you difficult to recognize even to yourself.
Your past is part of your story, but it does not have to be the only author of your identity. You can deliberately choose the standards and behaviors you want to live by.
Growth without identity can become performance. Identity without control can become passive self-knowledge. Control without growth can become rigidity. TBC joins all three: become more fully yourself, remember there is only one of you, and direct the parts of life that are actually yours to direct.
